I decided to get in touch with a Seventh-day Adventist pastor in America I had heard preaching on demonic oppression.

The email was so long and detailed that my shy self would not dare to post it here…

Here are a few passages:

“How can I accept that God's will for my life, may not always be pain-free?”
“I took decisions believing that they were God's will, but these paths only led me to failure, pain and shame. […] So, I'm wondering what is the point of following God if whenever He gives me directions, my weaknesses would come in the way and cause failure, pain, sickness and disappointment?”
“I strongly believe that God spared my life and my family from these attacks so far, but I am wondering if I am the one putting myself into unnecessary danger and God in His mercy intervenes every time? I just don't hear similar experiences from people my age. I also don't want people around me to think I made a pact with the devil himself….”
