WAGING WAR!!!
For the next five hours, each time a thought of doubt would try to grow some roots, I would be rebooting my brain with CeCe Winans’ song, Waging War.
No mercy allowed.
11:30 AM
After five hours of total boredom and anticipation, I had finally arrived. North Greenwich Station. Welcome to me!
The underground station was so big and clean wow. But no time to get distracted.
I prayed one more time, thanking God for his protection and asking for His wisdom.
Then, I put on my earphone and played my war anthem as I was walking towards the exit.
Oh, I was feeling it.
My perfectly rehearsed scenario would go as follows:
Give all the leaflets.
Accept the microphone that would be handed to me and preach words of repentance alongside my “war” message - People would be clapping of joy.
After distributing the entire leaflets to their fans, I would go to a restaurant to sit down and relax. A staff from the restaurant would come to me and say:
Oh, I’ve seen what you’ve just done.
Oh really?
Yes, and I’ve met BTS.
Oh really!?! I have something for them actually…
I can give it to them if you would like to?
OH REALLY!?!? THANK YOU!!
Then I would joyfully go home, happy to have completed my mission.
Perfection!
if you thought nobody could go beyond your creativity level…. here you go.
Anyways...
The final bridge between the underground and my mission was this big escalator.
I stepped on it while lip-synching the lyrics of the song.
“Dear Armys”
Uh?? That’s not in the song...
I turned around and noticed a board welcoming the fans.
Oh
My eyes started searching for the opposite escalator while my brain was trying to process these simple words “Dear ARMYs?”
Uh??
The more I went up, the more the noise from the outside seemed to be cancelling the music in my ears. I felt a bit hot all of a sudden.
At each steps, my body felt heavier and heavier.
The exit door was finally in front of me. I walked through the doors and panicked:
"Oh Lord, what am I doing here??"
